FinTech companies continue to attract venture capital investments


Following the rise in popularity of online payment methods, a consultancy firm revealed that FinTech (financial technology) startups have managed to attract an impressive number of venture capitals in the 2010-2017 time period. Setting a record of $27 445 000 000, these companies have accumulated nearly $100 billion in terms of investments in the past years. The majority of enterprises offer services within the digital settlement and online lending sectors. Expert analysis and reports suggest that this peak was achieved due to an increase in deal value in the UK, India and the US.
